DR MUSA WEN IBRAHIM was born in Mangar in Wamba Local Government Area of Nasarawa State on the 20th December, 1958.
He graduated from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1980 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English/African Literature and later obtained a Masters and Ph.D. Degrees from the Prestigious Howard University, Washington DC, USA in 1984 and 1994 respectively.
Upon his return to Nigeria in 1994, he joined partisan politics and has contested for the position of Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on two occasions; on the platforms of Grassroots Democratic Movement (GDM) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). He was a founding member of the PDP.
Dr. Musa W. Ibrahim joined the Nigerian Government Service as a political appointee on the – 1st of July, 1999 in the then Petroleum (Special) Trust Fund (PTF), and served as Special Assistant to the Chairman, Interim Management Committee of the Fund.
Dr. Musa W. Ibrahim later joined the mainstream civil service in 2002 as a Deputy Director and has worked in the following Ministries/Agencies: National Poverty Eradication Programme (NAPEP); Federal Ministry of Aviation; Policy Analysis and Research Project, National Assembly as Communication Expert; Federal Ministry of Science and Technology; and Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) in the Presidency, where he became a Director. He was posted to the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation as Director PR&IT in January, 2013.
Dr. Musa W. Ibrahim is married with four children.
